Or maybe like Leap, where the wizard picks up close by mobs and drops them. If you must have an explosion then make it work more like Shock Wave which is directional and sort of gathers mobs when it hits. Sometimes after a Wizard explosion my hero would start running to the edge of the map when there was nothing visible there. I have that return to attacking after moving turned on. Maybe something like Mage Arcanist that is more single target damage? What was the reasoning? I think the Wizard was blowing critters off the map. I've waited 2000+ and not gotten the tome before, and I wonder if this is potentially race related (he doesn't like DE or whatever).So I spent some gems on companions this ANB because I had mostly only used the Story companions. Three are 'free' as you progress through ANB Story (but you must first purchase companion slots to utilize them): a Warrior (Marcus), and Healer (Eileen), and a Marksman (Robin). I'm thinking of doing the sinister library and bug temple while I'm waiting. Companions are, by design, an augmentation and enhancement of capabilities used by your main hero. I've already done FGJC, ToEF, and Minotaur Maze (and sipped dry pretty much every pool in the drakalor chain). I've got a level 29 DE assassin with Nature's companion and True Aim, and I'm basically killing time while a potion shop restocks so that I can get more PoEx to keep dipping for a ring or amulet. So, I've had profoundly bad RoDs/AoLS luck this game, but really good luck otherwise.
